I used to carry GRAPES. And Chocolate Chip Cookies. And a couple Bananas.
Wife would make Rice Water which is a wonderul energy drink.
Once you 'go down' you are finished for the day. Must eat something, even at a low rate, from maybe 15 or 20 miles ON.

Once you "go down" you still have to get home.
I found my brain started functioning and my legs feel like they weren't so leaden only 15 minutes after a Gator Aid and a bag of peanut M&Ms!
But this is not a procedure I would like to repeat on a regular basis!

When I first started riding....and had no mentoring.....I once rode quite a ways....50 to 60 range and had some cookies to eat.
I got home so wasted I practically fell UP a flight of stairs.
Basically Huntington Beach up the Santa Ana River to around Yorba Regional Park......
