Elected representatives are under pressure to keep us from doing stupid things. We're bound and determined to keep doing stupid things and doubling down on doing stupid things, but we'll turn around and blame them for not stopping us when the badness happens because we did something stupid.

Forrest Gump and Idiocracy are thing to be admired by many that the joke was lost on.
Truth is at least as strange as fiction even when it isn't stranger.

If passed, then no more pandemic-related business restrictions from the dude.
Yee-haw, wild west, play what you're dealt. That was tried in New Mex, but a court told the whiners to sit down and shut up.
It was idiotic, deadly, irresponsible, and wasn't even good politics.
Just for the record, I don't wear a mask when I'm riding my bicycle. I have a big-ass Italian nose and I can't keep the mask from making my glasses fog up, so I keep it around my neck in case I might have to interact with somebody.
The typical bike trail interaction though is saying "Good morning" to another cyclist as you pass each other in opposite directions, typical closing speed of about 25 mph.

...our governor (Mike DeWine) is a Republican--and has been imposing restrictions, based on science, rather than politics--unlike some other states.
The biggest "problem"--across the board--is a lack of enforcement. I'm sorry, but "don't do that" or "please don't do that (again)" is not adequate--not without any serious consequences attached. Won't quarantine--"get in the truck--we'll quarantine your ass for you"--won't close your business--"we'll chain/padlock it shut for you". Should have been that way since Day 1.

...surprised you endorse that methodology. But it appears to be effective...at least in the short run.
I'm all for our rights and freedoms, but am also an educated scientist.
Yes, I have the right to carry a loaded weapon, but not the right to randomly use it to harm others--there are criminal penalties for that.
And sometimes, sacrifices have to be made for the "greater good". With over a quarter million deaths (so far), I think this qualifies.

mask is ineffective if your glasses fog up. Get another one!
you can pick your nose, you can pick your friends, by you can't pick your friend's nose.
And actually, I didn't pick this nose either. And no visits to Dr. Beverly Hills, thanks.

rocket science.
Other than maybe a respirator type mask that guys use in paint shops.

People don't do it, and it's probably not healthy to do so. Gotta exhale.

If you arrive from out of state you need to prove you've had a negative COVID test within the last three days.
I can just see state cops at the PA border on I70 stopping cars to check their papers. And of course business travel is exempted. Same for the airport.
Unenforceable mandates such as this, no matter how well-intentioned just make the gov't look dumb.
Just wear the goddamn masks and be done with it! About the only thing the curfew might do is prevent house parties but, again, who's gonna enforce it.
The curfew is for businesses. They can't tell me who or how many I can have at the house. The only exception is fire code but there is no stated occupancy limit and it is simply not a place where they have jurisdiction.
If I have a party and they come bitching I see that as trespassing, and you know the Heller case.
She CAN close down some businesses but has to leave WAY too many open, and here in Catholic New Mexico, large family gatherings are hard to quell.
Me?
When I HAVE to visit a busy doctors office, and I do every two months, I do the Biden 'double'. N95 with valve covered by a blue 'surgical' mask.
PennDOT is the expert at causing miles-long traffic backups. I'm sure it'll jump at the chance to close every road into and out of the state.
