Here's the main EPA mandated PFC requirement that spoiled it for me:- Automatic closure, meaning a nozzle which automatically springs to the closed position when not pouring.

Although not vented, I own two of these and they work great but I can no longer buy them in the stores because of the automatic nozzle closure requirement:
