Any of these seem the least bit familiar?

That is, IF they hadn't spent the night with us, and they'd come tell us if the babes were crying!
Now young Minnie (GGGIII's late sister) the black slinky-puss would come running yowrrrrrrlllll as she came and spring right up onto our shoulders, with an even more delighted yowwrrlll and lick and harangue us into 'waking the f UP, ya hear!, it's a beautiful day!!!!!'
GGGIII and Dondi-Trollop wake us by scratching at the door, sounding like they are about to drown of starvation, out in the hall!!!
OR .... IF / whichever decided to sleep with us, wakes me up at about 3 or 4 AM to go pee in the litter box in the laundry.
Noting that I've always slept 'nearest the door', and can see better w/o my glasses, so it was inevitable wasn't it?! Cunnin' critters them wimmens, ain't they!?
And then the two of them do the FEED US PLEEEAAAAZZZE routine later on! As well!!!!
But I love them anyway!

in the morning. Then I got a parrot. If I don't move at the speed of sound and get her sliced apple first thing in the morning, she starts screaming bloody murder. That, my friend, is truly annoying. Complicating things further is delivering the apple without falling over the cats weaving between my legs and feet because I apparently lost my mind and didn't feed them first.

Later Gator,
Crank up your talking machine, grab a jar of your favorite "kick-back", sit down, relax, and let the good times roll.
She'd kick their asses. That bird has flown out of her "house" chasing after me, and I've run screaming!
You put it so vividly - I can see it in my mind. Hollywood should be calling any minute for the rights to your life story ;-)
at 6:30 a.m.. What does parrot stew taste like? ;~)
Arrr, ye best be askin' a pirate then, matey!
(Sorry, just doing my bit for Talk Like a Pirate Day ;)
Except that we have the same toys all over the bedroom. The only way that could represent what happens at my house is if there were two of the little shits involved in the attack.
I am continually amazed at the way Cinco and Mayo can ignore each other all day long, but come night and morning they can coordinate and execute some amazing attacks on me, Mrs. bwk, dried floral arrangements and potted plants.
You aren't saying that Mrs bwk keeps a bat in the bedroom to keep
you under control...are you?? If this is the case you need to keep
this technique quiet. My wife might mistakenly read this.
And I don't heal up as quickly as I used to...
keep the bat. But judging from the way my back feels some mornings, I am certain that they use one on me. It happens to Mrs. bwk, too.
That is supposed to be one of the indicators that your mattress
is worn out and it's time to replace it. Our current inner spring set
is not that old, so I am holding off for awhile. I am considering
one of the memory foam or Bionic Woman mattresses next time.
But you need a 2nd mortgage to afford those things...
It's amazing how cats can get their way when they want.
For instance, they can somehow sit in just the right/wrong place to render sleeping in a king size bed impossibly awkward. What's up with that?
More likely he'd use a cricket bat - more surface area for cranial contact.
Otherwise a very cool animation ;-)
mine claws my elbow while i'm asleep. that's a sensation.
thanks that was funny

that would, gently, chew on your hair when his perceived breakfast time came round.
The current crop simply dash into our bedroom (ca. 5AM) and then one or both, sequentially or simultaneously, jump onto the bed and walk over and/or around us. They don't do this every day; that'd be too obvious.
Cats were long ago associated with the Devil for good reason...
all the best,
