What does it do to the sound? And will certain frequencies be affected? Which ones?

Trying to understand why the system sounds sooo much better when it rains. I know the humid air helps sound travel faster and could have something to do with it, but these are headphones and well something else has to be at work
Looking into it rain can block 11mhz signals, well block is a harsh word as you know. Hence my question as to what that frequency can do to the sound.

Rain blocks C Band at 2-5 GHz. The wavelength is about the diameter of a raindrop. Besides I think the system sounds best for sunny high pressure days and worst for rainy low pressure days.
Sorry I should have said 11ghz. I looked up rain fade and thats the frequency that was listed.
It def sounds better when its rainy

OK, no problem. You were only off by a factor of 1000. Obviously you are constantly bombarded by ku Band satellite and C Band satellite signals. Not much you can do about it other than RF countermeasures. Carbon fiber sleeves and carbon fiber cloth helps.
Pick up a quality Ion Generator like Geof sells... I run mine for several minutes to fill my small room before starting a listening session...
Does rain produce negative ions??
