Hello
Usually for small linear tears on paper cones we use water base glue and a few layer of paper on the rear of the driver. For Polypropoline (PP) drivers which almost nothing really adheres to it would seem unreasonable reconing or replacing the driver for this. This would be for Yamaha white cone studio monitors which often get small radial linear tears. I would imagine a small thin strip of plastic glued from the back with the proper adhesive would do the job. Vaguely remember one adhesive would stick to PP but donīt remember the name. Any suggestions on possible repair?

Do you have a SAMPLE of the material to be glued?
I'm assembling an RC airplane using, in part, something called 'Goop'.
This stuff is way sticky.
And the plane is made from EPP. Expanded Poly Propylene. A 1.3# or 1.9# per cubic foot density.
Some of the Hot Glues (low temp) may work, as well, if you can apply a 'patch' to the split.
Gluing something like a speaker cone on an 'Edge to Edge' basis sounds difficult to make durable.
Too much is never enough

I've used black fingernail polish on IMG cones, seems to hold up quite well, never tried it on poly though.

Rafaro,
In the USA you will have an equivalent to this product:
If you get the primer into the crack and then use cyanoacrylate gel version of the adhesive in the gap it, should solve your problem.
The speaker repair glue that Parts Express sells sticks to
most anything. Surrounds are glued to poly cones with it.
I'd rough up the surface if smooth for better adhesion.
PolyPropoline maybe a problem with the Parts Express glue it states "Not intended for butyl rubber or Santoprene surrounds, or POLY, metal, and other non-porous cones."3M High Performance Industrial Plastic Adhesive 4693 and others claim good PP adhesion but reviews are negative or no existant
Anybody with sucess out there?
