It works as advertised.
Follow Ups:
I plan to place it between my Oppo 205 and my Chord Qutest and my Benchmark DAC3-B. Buying it mainly for hopefully improved SQ on BluRay (audio-only and concert), but will give it a listen with my SACDs as well.
I read your review/article when it first came out but being almost a year ago, I forgot about it. I hadn't seen the comments before so that was interesting.
In your opinion does DSD64 impose any sonic limitation of significance?
Thanks Kal!

"In your opinion does DSD64 impose any sonic limitation of significance?"
Limitation compared to what? Is the question a general one or is it specifically about the D-Bob?
Yes, generally speaking. Either now or possibly in the future? I don't know enough about the technicalities of DSD to even know if this question made sense. Maybe that's why you replied "...compared to what?'.
Gerry
I have many DSD256 recordings and 24/352.8 PCM recordings. Rarely have I been able to compare them side-by-side with the same original recording in DSD64 and, when I have, the results are ambiguous. Sometimes, I think the higher bit-rate recordings are a bit better but mostly there is no perceived difference.
Now, I tend not to obsess about that (regardless of the outcome) because I find that the application of DSP/REQ and/or the availability of true multichannel provide obvious and significant audible improvements and, therefore, more worthy of attention than ever increased bitrates.
