I also have a Brooklyn Bridge and I really like mine. I also use MControl and it works fine for me. I like to play music from a 1-TB USB flash drive plugged into the USB port on the Brooklyn Bridge. I discovered that I had to reformat the flash drive into NTFS in order to get it to work. Even then it will play only PCM files up through 24/192. I have to use JRiver to play DXD and DSD files.I subscribe to QOBUZ and I use MControl on my smartphone for controlling the Brooklyn Bridge when streaming. Again, it works fine for me.
Anyway, I hope you get your Brooklyn Bridge figured out because I think it's one of the best sounding DAC/Preamp/Streamers I've ever heard. I now use it as my preamp because I've pretty much switched to digital exclusively. However, I like the fact that I can also connect my turntable to the analog input on my Brooklyn Bridge.
Good luck,
John Elison

@John Elison Thank you.
I submitted a Technical support ticket Sunday to Mytek and received a response from Michal later that evening with a phone number to call.
Damian was very patient and helpful and walked me through establishing a WiFi connection to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Still working on JRiver. LOL
Unless you're trying to play DXD and DSD music files, it's easier to buy a USB flash drive and plug it into the storage USB port of the Brooklyn Bridge. You can play PCM digital files up through 24/192 by using your smartphone or tablet to control your Brooklyn Bridge with the MControl app. Just remember to reformat the flash drive to the NTFS file system before loading your PCM music albums.
Here's the USB flash drive I bought:
