I wonder if you (or anyone) can compare it to the SA14. I recently bought one of those, and am fairly satisfied, although in general my vinyl rig is more exciting to listen to.
My system has oodles of inner detail but benefits from warmth, so I'm not sure that switching from the SA14 to the SA10 would be a good idea. ($$ not withstanding).

did you demo the SA-10?
No good relying on others demos, you have to demo the SA-10 for yourself.
Strange? It appears that Frank I has deleted his AA acount???
Old news .
Hopefully, more audiophiles will buy the SA-10 in 2018.
Fantja Forget the expensive SA-10 Buy the excellent Sony UBP-1000ES absolute bargain, far superior in every way to the unlistenable (for me) Oppo 205 piece of junk.

Another review in recent What?HiFi magazine.
IMO Franks review of the Oppo 205 was absolute nonsense, like all the other reviews of this piece of junk. Via analogue I found the 205 unlistenable and sold it on at a loss. As for the overpriced Marantz SA-10 you will not find a better more accurate review than the one from Hired Fox who is familiar with all the High end Marantz players and like myself has had many discussions with the designer Ken Ishiwata. H.F. said the SA-10 was excellent for stereo SACD but for CD not as good as previous top end Marantz player.

Laughing....
Possibly, Disbeliever.
I will be able to do this with the SA8005 its coming today. Not the 14. This is not warm as most typical Marantz units are. S=I will be getting more detailed information as I progress with the review.
