what "conspiracy theory"? dont misrepresent what i wrote. And, no, in general for equally well produced SACD and DVD-A, SACD does not sound as good, as it is less accurate, etc.

Conspiracy theory that Sony and Philips are trying to make a little (or a lot of) money. Secret dinner parties in Los Angeles where people get DVDA epiphanies. Dastardly I tells ya--I've never heard of such a horrible thing! Well, at least you didn't use the tired old "Sony's paying everyone to use the technology, etc." With regard to SACD sounding better, my ears are the only ones that count, though I'll trust Renner and Woods over Nona as well. No offense.
