I'm running low on low voltage i.e. 6.3vdc, 16, or so caps. Who makes and where to buy? Vishay MKT and better. And TIA !
Follow Ups:
You're probably going to find that low voltage caps are now primarily surface mount.
The good news is that capacitors are being made smaller now than even a few years ago. So you may find something in a higher voltage that you can use.
You didn't specify the ufd value you are looking for. That might help.
FYI - MKT's are polyester film. Pretty crappy for audio. Polypropylene are much better but will be larger.
You need to measure the physical size, and see what you can get away with.
If you're one of those people that thinks lower voltage caps sound better. Disregard this post LOL.

thanks Dan, Lefson gave what looks like a good link. I should have been more specific- A source for voltage (6-50vdc), value (1-50mfd) caps for the occasional repair/replacement.
I also thought the MKT's were blah until I swapped out 2 ERO MKT for the Vishay MKT and was surprised to hear a nice improvement.
Someone loves the MKT1822 15uf??

can you explain your response
If you're question was directed at me please be more specific.

How much are you willing to spend? Lefson C-Mod are apparently designed for the task.

You don't need low voltage but probably need small size. I would definitely try to find better than the Vishay you mentioned. The Wima MKP-10 exist in 15 and 22uf at 250V and may be small enough. They are inexpensive and are the beginning of good sounding caps. They are polypropylene not polyester. Don't see other small caps in tin foil that are small.

What is the application?
@ 6.3V - is this a filament supply?
do you want to filter out ripple?
need a bit more detail to provide an answer that would be helpful...
Happy Listening
I have tube caps, thanks
