Doesn't it sound like a Schumann resonator idea?
Is there an echo in here? )))))))))))

Sounds like a "sucker born every minute" generator.
Wonder what al-Khwarizmi would think.
"They super saturate the AC line voltage with harmonics to affect a 1 to 5% increase of the voltage peaks delivered to the power supplies of system components. "
I don't like that idea.

"Still Working the Problem"
I thought the purpose of power treatment was to clean up the crud that comes out of the wall? In case the internal power supplies of equipment fail to do so adequately? This seems totally counterintuitive.
I just talked to him on the phone. He has no technical answers. He adds harmonics to the line AC and claims it makes it sound better. That's about all I got from him. Opinion.

"They generate and propagate low frequency signal information to affect harmonic change to audio signals."

It's got a Schumann frequency generator inside.

He won't disclose the frequency and that frequency is added to the ac line not the audio path. More harmonics on the AC line will not improve the cleanliness of the DC, it can only make it worse. The truth is, it won't get past the power supply filters if they are designed properly. The low frequency will never make it into the room."So what used to be a direct current / DC voltage reference, is now a direct current / DC voltage reference with harmonic sine waves. The reference has been modified significantly. But what does that mean to the performance of an audio system?
When an audio signal with significant frequency information at around 100 Hz enters an amplifier stage, it will be amplified as usual. But if a harmonic series is imposed upon the DC supply voltage also has a 100 Hz fundamental, then, a condition of resonance exists at that exact instance in time. In this example, the altered DC reference contains a harmonic series with a 100 Hz fundamental frequency that will resonate with the music input signal's 100 Hz.
There will be an increase in the overall energy or amplitude of the audio signal in the amplifier. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. harmonics scaled upwards (out to infinity) in frequency from this modified DC reference will also harmonically resonate, accordingly, with the music signal that passes into the amplifier. Finally, the audio signal emitting from the loudspeaker will reveal an increase in its integrity of as much as 1 - 2 dB in energy."
So it's not a Schumann frequency generator.

Who knows? I honestly looked at my dental partials this morning if leaving them in or out would affect sound. Maybe solder in a bypass cap or Cryo treat them.
I think it's great that enhancements are always being looked for. Nothing wrong with generating excitement.
Sure miss instore demos. And grateful for Asylums.

"I know just enough to get into trouble. But not enough to get out of it."
I use the eau2 Electraclear, the least expensive item in the AD-POWR line.....I don't know if it's "placebo effect" (I wouldn't discount it), but while I was evaluating the unit, whenever I didn't have the unit plugged into the wall, I wanted it plugged into the wall.....
Subjectively, I thought the systems had a better grip on "microdynamics," the top end sounded more "extended".... I didn't notice any negative effects on the sound.
I ended up getting one for the main system and one for the high-efficiency system.

The best way to evaluate products like this is to have someone construct a "fake" non-working replica, which is visually and physically indistinguishable from the real product.....
Then mix the two items up so you cannot tell one from the other..... Then evaluate the two items for as long as possible..... (No cheating!!) Until you have come up with a preference of one over the other..... (This could take several weeks..... You might end up not noticing any difference at all.)
And repeat this several times.... Especially if you initially prefer the real product.....
Actually, you can just plug and unplug the device. In fact just plugging it in should be pretty convincing.

"Actually, you can just plug and unplug the device."
OR.....
A timer that controls AC power randomly...... I didn't know these products exist, but that would be the ultimate solution.
That was my first instinct also, really?
But my opinion has always been if it sounds better to to the user than it is great.
It is not for me to call BS as long as the user enjoys it, no skin off my ass.
It's all about getting the best sound for the individual after all.
Without music what is there?
Maybe it can convert my digital to analog :-)
I used to have a bunch of them. They work great. These devices were the brainchild (brain children) of Quantum Corporation twenty years ago. The line between quantum physics and classical physics has become very blurred.

From Wiki:
Quantum mechanics is a fundamental theory in physics that provides a description of the physical properties of nature at the scale of atoms and subatomic particles.[2]:1.1 It is the foundation of all quantum physics including quantum chemistry, quantum field theory, quantum technology, and quantum information science.
Classical physics, the description of physics that existed before the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics, describes many aspects of nature at an ordinary (macroscopic) scale, while quantum mechanics explains the aspects of nature at small (atomic and subatomic) scales, for which classical mechanics is insufficient. Most theories in classical physics can be derived from quantum mechanics as an approximation valid at large (macroscopic) scale.[3]
Quantum mechanics differs from classical physics in that energy, momentum, angular momentum, and other quantities of a bound system are restricted to discrete values (quantization), objects have characteristics of both particles and waves (wave-particle duality), and there are limits to how accurately the value of a physical quantity can be predicted prior to its measurement, given a complete set of initial conditions (the uncertainty principle).

Schrödinger's cat - Origin and motivationSchrödinger intended his thought experiment as a discussion of the EPR article—named after its authors Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen—in 1935.[4][5] The EPR article highlighted the counterintuitive nature of quantum superpositions, in which a quantum system such as an atom or photon can exist as a combination of multiple states corresponding to different possible outcomes.
To further illustrate, Schrödinger described how one could, in principle, create a superposition in a large-scale system by making it dependent on a quantum particle that was in a superposition. He proposed a scenario with a cat in a locked steel chamber, wherein the cat's life or death depended on the state of a radioactive atom, whether it had decayed and emitted radiation or not. According to Schrödinger, the Copenhagen interpretation implies that the cat remains both alive and dead until the state has been observed. Schrödinger did not wish to promote the idea of dead-and-live cats as a serious possibility; on the contrary, he intended the example to illustrate the absurdity of the existing view of quantum mechanics.[1]
Schrödinger's famous thought experiment poses the question, "when does a quantum system stop existing as a superposition of states and become one or the other?" (More technically, when does the actual quantum state stop being a non-trivial linear combination of states, each of which resembles different classical states, and instead begin to have a unique classical description?) If the cat survives, it remembers only being alive. But explanations of the EPR experiments that are consistent with standard microscopic quantum mechanics require that macroscopic objects, such as cats and notebooks, do not always have unique classical descriptions. The thought experiment illustrates this apparent paradox.

I still have 6 of his early plug-in offerings that went for $75 a pop. Music simply sounds more "real" with these in either system. Still used in both systems today. He's always offered a liberal audition/return policy so if they produce a negative effect or no effect at all, simply return them.
"The line between quantum physics and classical physics has become very blurred."
But the blinking LEDs on their home page appear to be in sharp focus, and I bet they serve a real purpose - like LEDs under small vacuum tubes and blue meters. ;-)

Ouch! Very ouch!
