.....it was hilarious. If I played Pavarotti or it was on the radio, he went into a barking rage. Even better was if Pavarotti was on tv, he would put his front paws up on the screen and start to scratch it. Needless to say, the temptation to torment him was too much. Switching between the channel with Pavarotti on and the adjacent channel with the r/c was great fun. Miss that little guy. Was actually a monster, 19 lbs male, very large for a Pug. Nicknamed the "Pulldozer". You didn't walk him, he walked you!
Follow Ups:
We had a. 21-pound male named Morris. He wasn't fat, either. He looked like a Warner Bros cartoon bulldog with a wide chest and a very rolling gait when he trotted along.
The thing that made him go nuts was the sound of skateboards, although playing Seamus from the PF Meddle album was always entertaining. Talk about a chow hound! I miss that dog.
the title of a pretty bad detective story.
Maybe a Bulwer-Lytton "Honourable Mention".
;)
all the best,
mrh
Some dogs like to sing with Pavarotti.......
