If you're interested at all.....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Spector
But of course, you probably knew that.
Edits: 01/18/21Follow Ups:
His early '60s "little symphonies for the kids" worked when the singers had strong enough voices to cut through, or ride atop, the lush orchestrations.
"River Deep Mountain High" is actually a pretty good album, because Tina Turner has the power to cut through. And it's got some great songs.
At the other extreme, Lenny Cohen's "Death of a Ladies' Man" is an unlistenable mess, and hands-down the worst Cohen album ever. Lenny's weak baritone gets totally drowned in the arrangements. George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" likewise suffers from over-orchestration. Would have been a better record minus the big production, with just Bonnie & Delaney & Friends as the backing band.
... Which might consider "his music". I never owned any of them myself.
Dmitri Shostakovich
And supposedly a reasonably good one who played on several of his early productions.
