That is not Hendrix's audio system nor is the record collection in the video anything at all to do with Hendrix. The Hendrix flat is a curated museum alongside Handel House adjacent.
The flat that Hendrix occupied in the mid 1960s has had many tenants subsequently. When it was acquired for public display it was basically an empty shell. All of the contents have been added by a curator to indicate a typical hippy's flat in the period. There is one HUGE clue. The Leak amplifier is a Leak 130. That came out oh what, 4 months ago as a brand revival. You can buy one at your dealer today. That faux art deco lettering hijacked from Leaks' early days is a giveaway.
One inmate has been using an authentic photo of Hendrix at the flat putting on an LP as his signature . Hendrix's then turntable was a (if I remember) Thorens TD124. I hope the inmate will post that picture again.
Yes Lowther made ranges of finished loudspeakers. but Hendrix probably never owned any. The pair has just been picked by the museum curator as being appropriate - NB: they are not.

good info, and it's probably me you're referring to : )
And I think Hendrix simply surrounded himself with nice 'stuff' vs being a serious audiophile..my guess anyways
