Projectors vary from $700.00 or so and up. You want to decide if 1080p is good enough or wanting 4k. The JVC 400r is an excellent projector with modern features and although not technically 4k it does display near 4k and HDR content, the PQ is very good, most reviews say it is hard to discern the JVC pQ from true 4k. The 400r may have a new model by now, and as a disclaimer new 4k projectors have hit since that review, although a true 4k projector will run you 5 figures to my knowledge.
Large screen TV's 65 or over with excellent PQ easily approach into good projector territory. Of course, you then have to factor a screen.
Your receiver or separates could depend on what speakers, whether they wll require a lot of power to drive etc. So many options. I personally favor Marantz. You'll also need to decide if wanting Atmos, or, exactly how many channels.
Speakers are so many options, first decide if speakers standing in the room is alright or if wanting to try in-wall, In-ceiling, or, on-wall. I feel standing speakers are best but sometimes an install could require the other types, space, wife, placement, etc.
If just starting it's good to gather information but a trusted professional could save you some headaches and/or mistakes.
Good luck and feel free to ask additional questions as you go.
