A friend of mine says he has been blocked from viewing AA for at least 3 days and can't figure out why. He is not a registered user - could that be part of the problem? He has also tried a number of different browsers with no luck.
Everything has been working fine for me.

now, obviously, I can but have no idea what was going on. I thought AA was down for maintenance.

Someone else was having a problem yesterday and we couldn't figure out what was causing it. the same person has no problems at home, only at work. What I need at the exact error messages if any.
From what I could find on Google which was little more than nothing, was that a similar problem existed with iPhones in the past with other sites. Google advice was of course, to reboot the computer and the router. If that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Chrome.
Another possibility is some add on like an ad blocker or proxy might be causing the problem.
We're redirecting any requests from old links to the https equivalent, so that shouldn't be the issue

Hi Rod, I'll be glad to check-out issues as a Mac user using Firefox and Safari web browsers.
Cheers, Duster
Same thing happened to me about 10 minutes after posting this. "Can not display page" was the error message. I am using my home computer on Spectrum. Seems to be working again.
As is typical, I was out to lunch and resolved the problem about 1:45PM. Periodically, we get overwhelmed usually by automated queries from Russia or China. If it just takes forever to respond and you get that message, it's probably just a temporary overload. If it's a consistent error, that what I need to see and it's most helpful to grab a screen shot showing both the url and exact error massage.

This ain't rocket science.
The more complicated ya make the software, the more problems ya have to deal with. This is not news.
California and Wisconsin are not exactly "on the same wavelength" ( well, except in certain geographical areas). GK can explain it to y'all within a topic title with no text (nt). He's just that good.
But, really, seriously, every now and then, things don't go as well as we'd like.
;)
A.A. has become a secure site.
One possibility is the BROWSER the person is using has some issues with registering 'certificates'. The user should check his blocking protocols in his browser. (this may be beyond a total 'not a computer geek' type)
Another possibility is the person uses a saved link, which is now broken. And they should GOOGLE Audio Asylum. And click from there... Instead of his 'saved' link.
Sometimes the saved link dies, and then it should just be deleted, and Google up A.A. and connect. Re-adding the 'new' connection to favorites.
I have had that happen to me a few times.
My friend was finally able to access AA via his phone this morning, than rebooted his computer and was able to access AA at home as well.
I have found that some sites won't allow adblock but there is usually a warning that you need to disable adblock in order to gain access.
