Has anyone else have drops out while streaming via Tidal yesterday or today?
Follow Ups:
Generally speaking drop outs from streaming services are not caused by the service itself. It is more likely that there was either very heavy local demand affecting your ISP at that time or that your session with the ISP could use refreshing. Most of us leave our routers on all of the time and that means that a session may have been running for weeks.
If your problem continues I suggest that you switch off your router then leave it for a few minutes. Some ISPs suggest actually unplugging the line. When you reconnect you should have started a fresh session which may clear up the fault. Worth a try anyway as it's easy and free.
PAR, your post makes perfect since. I do periodically have to reset the router for other reasons. I'll keep your suggestion in mind the next time I have a problem. Thanks much.
I am breaking in a new OPPO Sonica DAC and it has been on 24/7 for a couple of days now streaming Tidal. No dropouts on my end.
I do have a very nice, higher end modem and router and have 100mbps service from Comcast.
