And not bad looking for her age.
OK, it was 5:30 AM and my mind wasn't full engaged: it is Herb Alpert. Mea Culpa

I wonder how many copies of that lp were made? If I had a dollar ......

I still remember my dad spinning it on a stereo he made back in the fifties I was like 7,8
Actually not the fifties.
And so I do. We got it out and listened to it, very relaxing and very nicely recorded, too. The toddler granddaughter we babysit loved it, started dancing to it, and so did we.

Dolores used to have a website called whippedcreamlady.com. You could buy her artwork ( apprently she painted) and autographed poster of her famous cover. I should have bought one.....

A much prettier face shot.
I guess we all know by now that the whipped cream was actually shaving cream. For those that didnt, sorry to burst the 30 year old bubble....:)
Gang,
I spent a lot of time with Terry doing a number of CES and RMAF with him. People would send him copies of that album. He would bring like 5 or 6 to shows and had them all signed by her since I think she lives up in Washington state somewhere.
I think Terry said he had like 50 copies!
Miss you guy!

Pete and I celebrated Terry's birthday (July 16) with a fly-fishing trip up the
Touchet and fine dining with Leslie at a couple of Terry's favorite hangouts.
Hard to believe it's been almost six years since he was taken from us.

Alpert.
Cool, Someone actually noticed !
If you're actually in SoCal, you're in Mr. Alpert's neck of the woods. He owns interests in a couple restaurants, notably Vibrato in - I think - Northridge.
One of the TV networks had a piece on him within the past year. Can't think of what show it was. Google it.
:)
Vibrato is in Bel-air.
Don't you actually want to write: "Is Vibrato in Bel-air"?
