I fully agree with this review. I own the 2226B and it is a very well bult piece, has a great sound and looks nice too....very tube-ish. This reciever sounds like it has a lot more that 26/side. I drive a variety of speakers with it: Jennings Research towers, AR2, Dynaco-25, Bozak B300.Other Marantz recievers I own: 2215B, 2220, 2230
Product Weakness: | None that I can tell. Fuse type lamps were a pain in the rear to get to for replacing. |

The original post for a review of the 2226B is down below this page a little ways.When I posted my review, in response to the first person's review, I was unaware that mine was going to come up as a separate post. I expected mine to fall be below his post.
One of "Marantz's finest moments?" Right.Somehow I think the luvmusll hasn't heard the truly classic Marantz products like the 7 and 9.
