I am aware that Amazon HD is a misnomer but CD resolution is still better than the usual 320. I am going wifi right now. I am considering buying a Bluesound Node 2i. Would this be a modest step up?
Follow Ups:
Amazon Music HD includes some "Ultra HD" which IS 'hi-res' up to 24/192KHz.
I subscribe to Qobuz and Tidal hi-res music services which can be managed and streamed via Roon to a variety of streamers including the Chromecast Audio, microRendu, and my DIY Raspberry Pi's.
I don't think Roon has any plans to support Amazon Music at this time so Amazon Music is a non-starter for me since I do everything via Roon. It is the center piece software for my computer based audio setup.
