One with more expensive DAC chips and LOTS of them!!!
Follow Ups:

I agree.
I think R2R is the new hot thing now!
Re: Holo Spring Dac, AudioGD Singularity 19, DENAFRIPS 'ARES' R2R....etc
while my Audio-GD Master 11 Headphone/DAC uses only FOUR.
Cheap Chinese DACs indeed!
And so does my Audiogd Ref 7. But my Audiogd Ref 5 only has four.
So that's 20!
Make that My Audio-GD Reference not Master 7.
I bought the Master 11 first and it never made it into my main system as it sits next to my easy chair in the living room hooked up to laptop and headphones.
So I bought the Ref. 7 for the main system.
I get the nomenclature mixed up sometimes.
But lots of PCM1704U-K in the house, that's for certain.
I've been using Audiogd products for a long time. Over the years they've made a lot of unique one-off products.
I ended up with a complete Master series set-up Dac, Pre, and Amp. But to me the jewels of Audiogd are my desktop Roc -headamp/preamp and the Ref 5.
Don't use my Ref7 so much anymore and I've sold off my Audiogd Sabre stuff.
