Hello,
I read a couple of interesting posts about using Audyssey for two channel systems. I have a McIntosh integrated amp, Wadia I70/Ipod and a few other sources. Is there a way I can incorporate Audyssey Multi EQ/XT (or its other variants) into this system?
Follow Ups:
There are several stand-alone 2 channel room EQs. Some are more potent than Audyssey.
Trinnov
DEQX
Anti-Mode 2.0
McIntosh MEN-220
etc.
How do these work with an integrated amp, though?
Unless it has a processor/tape loop, the only option is putting the EQ ahead of the amp but that limits its application to one source only.
Integrated amps are just that. ;-)

Audyssey doesn't make a standalone room correction device any more. They did in 2007:

If your amp has an external processor input of some kind, you could use this device (if you can find it used) with an integrated amp. Or you can use this device with a separate amp and preamp. But it doesn't use the most recent and higher-resolution versions of Audyssey (MultiEQ XT or XT32).
Audyssey licenses the technology to other manufacturers (Onkyo, Denon, Marantz). You need either a receiver that includes Audyssey technology used by itself, or a receiver with Audyssey technology that has a PREAMP OUT to be used with a separate power amp of your choice.
