I see the USB 'standard' or max recommended length is 15 feet / 5m=16.5'
I have a longer run from confuser to DAC. Depending on the actual route of the run, I'll go with 25', for now.
Now, the question::
Is it OK to use a 'repeater'? Any recommendations for such a device? Does anyone have any experience with 'em?

I ended up w/2x15' repeater cables. They are USB 2.0 and pass a 192khz signal just fine, thank you.
Only problem? Well, my system readout shows that that USB port is running at 500ma, which is MAX.
I don't know if that is a problem or not? Any guesses?

This thread will inform you
No can go 300$ plus for an extender. The BlueTooth 'dongle' which supports apt-X is 1/3 that.
So, after reading the entire thread, I will probably send off for the monoprice extender. They seem to get good reviews.
Also, most of the extenders I've seen on the sites from Amazon to ZDnet are from companies of which I've NEVER heard. I don't have the funds to experiment, so I want a plug-in solution on the first whack.
Thanks for finding that thread: i'll re-read later today.
My DM+ JUST arrived!
