Anyone have any specific recommendations on a digital cable with RCA's ? If your going to recommend something, please tell me why you chose that one and what you directly compared it against. If a specific length worked better for you, please let us know about that also. Sean

I have used cables from MIT and Canare, and did not notice a difference. Then I found a Wonderlink for $99, and it make all the difference in the world. I am now convinced that a properly-made digital cable is essential, a crutial part of digital playback. The Wonderlink was sold with McCormak digital gear some years ago. It is basicaly a Kimber Illumanati D-60, with true 75-ohm terminations. You may still be able to find some for sale on the used markets, otherwise spring for the Illuminations D-60 (they keep changing the name, but the construction is the same).Read Jon Risch's site for explaination of why you should use at least a 1 meter length in digital cable. Also, the terminations are very important. I can't speak for other cables, but the Illuminations D-60 should be your absolute minimum standard. Worth every penny.
Cool !!! I forgot all about the "wonder" ful products of Moncrieff & associates. I think i have a source for some of these, so i'll give them a try. The price seems quite reasonable from what i've seen. Sean

I acquired a jitter reduction box recently, that in turn drove the need to obtain a 2nd digital interconnect. I bought 3 feet of Canare L5CFB 75 Ohm coax from Michael Percy (an AA sponsor) and had him terminate the wire with Canare true 75 Ohm RCA plugs. The current price for the assembled cable is $26.85 plus $5.50 shipping. The cable works great. I decided on the 3 foot length because shorter lengths CAN cause problems. Longer cables than 3 feet are no problem and add only $0.95 per additional foot to the cost. Given that the assembly is true 75 Ohms end to end and that the materials used are of high quality, I believe that obtaining better performance will be subject to the law of diminishing returns in the extreme.

I would HIGHLY recommend Millersound cables, see reviews on Audioreview.com. I paid $65 for a .5 meter digital cable and love it. I don't know if he has a web sight. Call information and ask for Millersound in College Pennsylvania. If you get the number, maybe you could post it. I also have a pair of his interconnects and love them...better than PBJ and silver Bullets 4.0 IMHO.Dan
