Just came across this on AudiogoN. Liked reading her.
"So, im not sure if any of you remember her, she was a reviewer in a few magazines over the years, her name even pops up in reference here on some equipment.
Sadly she passed away recently due to some health complications. She was the audiophile in the family, and as such much of her work flew over my, her nephew's head, but i wish it all stuck more as I've been thrusted into this world.
It was her passing that brings me here, to inform anyone that may have had the pleasure of knowing her, and also, in trying to find a home for her home full of equipment. Admittedly I've been swamped by myriad of terminology, brands and devices quite foreign to me, as i only shared my aunt's automotive passion. To this end, i appreciate all the help and information I've received from here already, and keep an eye out for some of her gear as well. Again, thank you. I've enjoyed seeing her work at every turn almost the past few days."
Follow Ups:
Very sorry to hear this. She was a fun, knowledgeable active participant at the Asylum for many years. And one of an apparently small number of women audiophiles.
My condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed by many.
A really nice person, and as you indicated, one of the few female audiophiles who was a contributor here. Farewell to a lady.
I do not remember seeing Sue post in any other audio forums. Maybe she used a different username

Very sorry to hear this. I enjoyed reading her reviews in the Absolute Sound.
My condolences to you and your family. So sorry to hear this.
I've read sue's posts and writings thru the years. I have never seen a picture of Sue....anyone have a pic?

I had one from CES in 2003 or 2004. It was a covert shot as she was camera sky, so I never posted it in the CES pics. I think it may have been this one:
Unfortunately, Sue was off just to the left side of the speaker and I'd cropped her out. I must have formatted the card after uploading the pics because I can't find it anymore.

Sue wrote for a number of outlets and was a fixture in the hobby for a number of years. Might some one who remember Sue's career post some form of appreciation?
Lots of postsm but no appreciation of her career. How come?
I knew Sue only through our posts and interactions on Audio Asylum. She made me laugh a number of times and I remember her as being 'thick skinned' and able to spar humorously with the crudest among us. RIP Sue.
Did communicate via email a few times over the last couple years. Spoke of meeting at an audio show but it never worked out.
RIP, Sue and see you at an audio show in the sky one day.
Promise.
I enjoyed her audioasylum posts. My condolences to her family and friends.

Her last Asylum post was a month ago, about nose picking, of all things, which is why she was often a fun read.
Godspeed, SK.
I am very sorry to hear this news. Particularity sad as the number of females in this hobby is so small and the number with Sue's knowledge and background is even smaller.
My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Damn, sorry to read that. My sympathies to her family and friends.
She was one of two or three TAS writers I respected.
Thank you for telling us.
My condolences to you and to your/her family and friends.
all the best,
mrh
I was acquainted with Sue for a long time and introduced her to Romy the Cat at the Tenor Rockport room back in 2002. I have been an audio insider for quite a while. Be safe out there.

I met Sue online in 1995 on my new computer, we met in person at a RMAF.
I loved her sense of humor and will miss her!!
