Get a hold of Ernest Farley/ELF Custom Cables/username:wirewizard.
He builds a gold plated copper interconnect that is very neutral, slightly leaning toward warmth.
I believe that a 1 meter pair runs $150,.It has a return policy, so no out-of-pocket expense if it doesn't suit the situation.

These cables look interesting and are worth trying. If you don't like them, I suggest you try Audience Ohno interconnects. You should be able to find them for around $159 for a 1 meter pair.
+1 on the Audience Ohno, as I've owned these in the past, and while I loved said IC's, I couldn't say the same for their matching SCs, yet within your set budget, I'd recommend you at the very least sample several of the Oyaide Neo designated IC's, as the Japanese tend to produce slightly warmer | creamer cables compared to most other cultures, also don't overlook the IC's made by Supra out of Denmark, as they offer a very forgiving, yet balanced sound...-...-, a few of cabling brands which comes to mine, if you can find them?, as the companies are no longer around are Cobalt Cable Ultimate | CRL ( Cable Research Labs ) Blue Note Series.
Good luck with your quest.
