Mick Wolfe's comment about the W3159 sounding a bit thin for an interconnect application can be addressed by the use of a medium to high-mass rca connector, rather than a silver or silver-plated low-mass rca connector. The gold-plated Furutech FP-126(G) rca connector comes to mind, since the sonic signature due to the solid copper center pin sounds full-bodied with good musicality, including a generous but still articulate bottom-end.

Appreciate the advice. Nice looking plugs.
I was originally going to buy the Canare F-10's you suggested.
Will see where things are at next time I place an order of supplies.
Cheers!

The Canare RCA connector was suggested to include within your single order from Redco. The Canare F-10 is the best option they carry, and would still be a good low-cost option if a pro audio RCA connector with a brass base metal would be satisfactory for the price.
The Furutech RCA connector is an audiophile-quality option with a higher price tag if a more serious DIY cable build is considered within a budget-level.
One thing about sourcing a low-cost, high-performance bulk audio cable is to consider splurging on a set of high-performance connectors in order to get the best out of the cable, since there are no pro audio RCA connectors that perform as well as a bonafide audiophile-quality product.
Ah. That worked out well then. That was my first order at Redco. I don't often order parts, but when I do it is usually from Partsconnexion. Furutech is a brand they carry. Thanks again.
Cheers!

Parts Connexion stocks the gold-plated Aeco ARP-4045 RCA connector that would likely be a good candidate as a low-mass design for use with the Mogami W3159 interconnect cable, and substantially less expensive than the higher-mass Furutech FP-126(G) RCA connector. The bottom-end is full-bodied, with a sweet treble characteristic. They are easy to work with, but plugging the connector into a jack as a heat sink should be used when soldering in order to avoid thermally stressing the plastic dielectric. Aeco RCA Connectors are outstanding options that I prefer vs. a number of other high-performance choices.

Ah. That is a nice gold plated option. Thanks for this.
Cheers!

Thx Duster. That RCA and its lugs look far more user friendly for DIY/soldering than any of the others I've used.
