In what ways was the Viborg VP1606 differ from Supra? It's so difficult to DIY power cords, especially large AWG, that don't obscure the treble and midrange clarity with quantity/quality of bass..
Follow Ups:
Nothing jaw-dropping, but there are worthwhile improvements. The main improvement is slightly in the direction of what AC conditioning should do. A bit more clarity all over, probably as a result of some noise reduction in the line. I'm guessing better shielding than the Supra. There certainly is a lot of shielding in the Viborg.
The Supra is, I think, 13 AWG. My AC cable is long and my woofers are only 7" so I use a sub. I am getting a bit more out of those small woofers now. I had the SW XO set higher than I'd like, so I can make a small adjustment for the better.
As usual YMMV.
