There are so many to choose from.
I experimented years ago, found Monster Sigma Retro Gold sounded great. When no longer available, my dealer let me try Clarus Crimson, which is my go-to now.
Not cheap, tho, and wouldn't want to buy 5-8 pairs ( or whatever ) for Surround.
Follow Ups:
The fact they come from a far away place, but NOT China.
The fact almost no one has ever heard of them
The fact they look pretty
The fact it takes two months to get them
The fact the NSA will probably forever have the buyer on their radar
All these things make them irresistible.
ALL your points are VERY close to the truth! ;-)

Yeah, I'm not a fan of lead paint.
The fact almost no one has ever heard of them
Yup - that's why I'm asking. Apparenly, Focal is their distributor in France.
The fact they look pretty
Yes - a BIG selling point for me!
The fact it takes two months to get them
The time lag adds to their exotic appeal!
The fact the NSA will probably forever have the buyer on their radar
My VPN will protect me! ;-)
In addition, they have a really nice pdf brochure! ;-)
oh, never mind....
I thought you were a man of taste, insight, and above all, that other thing I can't think of right now.
I hope it's not true.
Or Is true, I'm not sure now.
I hope the Timing on the Cables is good.
They're Russian, I hear.
not.
.
Crushed again at AA!
I can't say what they sound like since I have never even heard of them, let alone heard them someplace.
I was just joking around.. except the NSA part.

I would think it would be rather tempting to find a spied upon place where they play nice music...
So the agent could while away his/her time enjoying fine musical performances as they pretend to be working hard to protect us all?
G*d help us all!
