After acquiring a cartridge which is fast enough to produce more detail, it has shown me that a single wire is able to reproduce the vinyl as intended in my system. I replaced my Music Metre Silver with Wireworld 7 Oasis that just clouded the presentation. I'm a believer in strand jumping distortion. I know marketing is important with teflon, right/left twist, cotton or sub zero freezing, but sometimes simpler is better. A single wire is my preference.

Follow Ups:
If you follow the philosophy of the late Allen Wright (Vacuum State Corporation) the ideal interconnect (or internal wire) is the smallest diameter that can adequately handle the current requirements.Solid vs Stranded is a bit more complex in my experience. Both have their merits (eg: Morrow). Individuals should explore both and decide, and note also that a component change can change the cable synergy, so you may find yourself going back to "the dark side" in the future.

I also use MAC Silver cables. But, anything is possible...maybe even likely.
