in parallel, with the two cables beside each other (i.e. not end to end), onto some sort of tab that I could bolt onto another assembly or pop rivet, etc....how would you do it....
the many oval sleeves for use in swaging wire rope would do, except no tab style or bolt style that I can find...mmm
anything in the audio world ???
Thanks for you good help Duster....so many you have helped...
sincerely

here they are...I didn't know if they existed but they do: perhaps you might need for some strange an application as mine:

ok...kind of pretty actually

What is the particular application? Is it a non-audio project? Are the two 10 AWG wires implemented for AC delivery or a mechanical rigging of some sort? Explain clearly...
P.S. Thanks for the kind words ;-)
Cheers, Duster
people have connectors for 4AWg wire with a hole in the tab...here:
http://www.nexxia.co.uk/product.asp?s=Car%20Audio%20Accessories&c=Amplifier%20Connectors&product_code=G4-18
I hope this uploads with the link...(I don't post this way often)
seeing this Duster, if I smash (i.e. imitation swage) the two 10awg wires under the tabs..i.e. stripped ends next to each other in place of the 4awg wire, and then braze with audio silver solder, do you think I will have a decent sounding connection???
thanks,
Sincerely,
-3db
That's a ring terminal. Without knowing the specifics of your project, all I can say is what you described should be an effective thing to do.
always a Light here Duster,
Good Listening to you,

way overbuilt and probably too expensive for your purpose but it'll never work loose, either. Just an idea...
