First of all, thank you for reading and posting a reply to my message. Here is my audio system:Resolution Audio Opus 21 CD Player, Power Centre, Extra Sources, and S30 Power Amplifier
Ray Samuels Audio Emmeline HR-2 headphone amplifier
Sennheiser HD-650 headphones
Balanced Power Technology BP.Jr II Ultra with Signature Upgrades
Cardas Golden Reference Power cords, Interconnect, headphone replacement cable for Sennheiser HD-650
Custom Balanced Power Technology 9 gauge Litz power cord
Audioquest Cinnamon 1.5 meter USB cableMy Resolution Audio Opus 21 Extra Sources box connects to the DAC built into the CD Player transport box using a S/PDIF coaxial 75 Ohm cable. I am using a Blue Jeans Cable Digital S/PDIF 1.0 meter cable right now. I am interested in getting the Cardas Neutral Reference Digital 0.5 meter RCA terminated S/PDIF cable to replace the Blue Jeans Cable Digital. I know and love the Cardas house sound very much and I think that I will stand to benefit from this upgrade quite nicely. The Blue Jeans Cable is the weak link in my audio system and it needs to be replaced with a much higher quality S/PDIF coaxial digital cable. I can get a new Cardas Neutral Reference Digital 0.5 meter RCA terminated S/PDIF cable from Audio Connection in Verona, New Jersey for a fifteen percent discount less than the MSRP if I pay in cash for a local pickup. I hope to have the available funds this Sunday evening. I had the Cardas Neutral Reference Interconnects connected between my Resolution Audio Opus 21 music system and my Ray Samuels Emmeline HR-2 headphone amplifier many years ago so I know what kind of sound to expect. I have since upgraded to the Cardas Golden Reference power cords and interconnects many years ago. It was the right upgrade for my system.
I would like to solicit opinions on my soon to be made purchase of the Cardas Neutral Reference Digital 0.5 meter RCA terminated S/PDIF cable. If you have this specific cable regardless of length, then please share with the community what is your audio system setup and how you like this cable. Thank you.

I got my Cardas Neutral Reference Digital S/PDIF 0.5 meter RCA termination cable and I plugged them into the S/PDIF coaxial jacks on the back of my Resolution Audio Opus 21 Extra Sources box and the CD Player which houses the DAC. I let them burn in for 48 hours by playing a variety of loss less audio files including .FLAC and .WAV files from 16 bits 44.1 kHz up to 24 bits 192 kHz. Previously, I used a Blue Jeans Cable Digital S/PDIF 1.0 meter cable. The Cardas Neutral Reference Digital cable is very nice. It is much more resolving and it extracts more details from all of my music. It makes it easier to listen to fine details, layers of sounds, and the imaging is very precise so it makes it easier to locate where singers and instruments are located within the sound stage. It lets the pace, rhythm, and timing of music flow more naturally and my Resolution Audio Opus 21 music system is well known for its timbre and rhythm accuracy. Unraveling the complex lines of music is much more natural and it keeps my foot tapping along. This Cardas Neutral Reference Digital S/PDIF cable is quite neutral and it does not color the sound whatsoever. It is truly a reference grade S/PDIF cable suitable for high end audio systems like my own. It's much thicker and slightly heavier than the Blue Jeans Cable Digital S/PDIF cable, but it is a superior digital cable in my listening tests thus far. Bass firmed up quite a bit and treble has greater extension and air. The mid range is smooth and uncolored with plenty of resolution and details. I would say that the Cardas Neutral Reference Digital S/PDIF cable is a very intimate sounding cable. It really allows me to get closer to the music with no compromises. I will keep it in my system for many years.
