I recently swapped out a 17yr old Canare star quad microphone cable used for my HT subwoofer for a Blue Jeans LC-1 cable. To my pleasant surprise, the LC-1 offered a very noticeable and worthwhile improvement. Bass became more defined and less "thumpy". The tonal accuracy improved significantly, as did coherence. Best of all, there was a worthwhile musical improvement making me enjoy the subwoofer more.
The cable is well constructed and inexpensive. I can't imagine needing anything more for your subwoofer. It makes me want to try the LC-1 for analog connections in my main audio system.

Go for it! I went with Blue Jeans LC-1 for my subs and due to the nature of my system, multiple tear-downs and reconfiguring the systems just for the hell of it, I found that using my 12 foot sub cables for the analog interconnects between preamp and monoblocks that there was virtually zero difference. They worked just fine and for the money they can't be beat. I also approve highly of the plugs that are used. Well made and holds nicely.
