VH4 are wonderful cords. We recently tried what you just did, but we switched in some VH AirSines in place of VH4, and the improvements were mind-boggling considering how good VH4 are to begin with. It seems there's always room for improvement.

The AirSine is wonderful, ain't it? It's almost like a Tesla wireless power feed (ha :-). The AirLok dielectric is a very special thing in my experience, as it has little or no sonic signature in terms of coloration that even the audiophile quality use of Teflon and FEP tend to have. I believe that the AirLok dielectric is a major aspect of what makes the AirSine a truly great power cord. "Do no harm" is a major motto of high performance cables, and the unfortunate truth is: Insulation is a necessary evil when it comes to sonic performance...
vh audio symmetry cables sound just like the airsine - open, clean and natural.
i am game if vh audio is going to make a gold label headphone cable for my sennheiser hd 650s.
