There's a report over on Audiogon that Bob Crump of TG Audio passed away over Thanksgiving.

over in Inmate Central, linked below.I hope you'll all be able to make it!
I met him at CES 2004, he welcomed me into his room with a beer, some jokes and great tunes. I immediately felt like he was a friend. Really sad to hear this. I was looking forward to seeing him again this year. A great guy.
...the world feels just a little smaller somehow without him.
We use to talk through Emails. He was an honest sincre person that was willing to help anyone looking for advice. He was a notable designer and this must be a great loss to the whole community!

I looked on A'gon and cant seem to find the thread- any links or more info?

Also here, on the Cable Asylum, Norm has unfortunately confirmed this rumor
Spoke with Bob several times about cable and equipment. He always made me feel as if I were speaking to a friend, though I never met the man.
Crap. Bob had a great set of ears, was a great engineer and, on top of all that, a wonderful guy. He was a unique personality and will be sorely missed.
RIP good buddy.
Sound Lab, Parasound, and Grand Prix Audio are sharing Alexis Park Room 1302 once again, with a cable manufacturer to be named soon. But you're right, he had a way of making people feel welcome and keeping things fun.
