Do you have to have the balanced inputs?I know I'm in the minority here but balance inputs are nothing more than a new pitch to sell someone that already has a great stereo, yet another one.
Those were designed for long runs, studios, microphones, etc..
It would be more important that the amp properly matches with the rest of your system.
Now I will have to hide for a few weeks after I get flamed for saying such words.

No flame from me, but an All Balanced system from source to amp might have some advantages, espeically in a 'noisy' environment. RF / RFI and such is much better tolerated by such systems.
I suspect but don't know that the balanced provisions of the 'MKII' version are a simple add-on and not a complete redesign to a real, all-balanced internal topology.
Proper matching trumps balanced, of course. However, I DO like balanced connections because they are very robust and positive. Some even say that cable type matters less with balanced, but I don't know that for certain.
Too much is never enough
