I recently had a problem with my Pass Labs Amp. After initially contacting them, they called me right back and had me ship it in. Even though it was out of warranty, they told me not to worry; they fixed it free of charge. All I had to pay for was shipping. Total time, with shipping, was about 10 days. They even retrofitted the amplifier to work better with my REL sub. This is what customer service is all about--way beyond what they actually needed to do. Impressive.

Will second all of the above. The folks at Pass and Reno HiFi have always been super!
Threshold - because my 31 year old Stasis has always worked perfectly! I proactively replaced the power supply caps myself a few years back.
And if you don't have a Pass dealer nearby, I will also put in a plug for Reno HiFi here. Mark is extremely helpful and they have great policies in place to make sure that every buyer is happy with his or her purchase.
Mark is great. I've had several interactions with him to date.
I think he's the only authorized internet dealer who can resell factory refurbished Pass gear... or something like that. Of course, he's family and somehow indirectly related to the company honcho. ;-)
I've had good dealings with Mark, too.
Can't say enough good things about Mark and Reno Hi-Fi. Very easy to work with. Am really enjoying the X 2.5/XA 30.5 combo.

I can't say enough good things about there service. A year or so back I sent in an Aleph 30 for service. Not only did they service it but it cost less than the shipping to return in! Communication was great and I'll will go back to them time and time again.
I stopped by their facility on the way to Reno a few years back on a whim. Met Nelson, they showed me around and all were polite as could be.
A very nice group of people!
I had the same experience: I sold a mint x-1 preamp but it was probably damaged in shipping. I offered to pay for any repair and the buyer shipped it to Pass Labs. They repaired at no charge even though it was out of warranty, then shipped it back to him at their expense.
What can I say, this company offers great sound AND first rate service!
They are what the high end audio industry is all about; top notch customer service/responsiveness and some pretty friggin awesome equipment to boot. I have my XOno on the way to them, their response was as good as it gets. My next amp upgrade will be either a 250.5 or 350.5; they earned more of my business and I would hope the audiophile community supports companies like Pass Labs, et al, who go out of their way to make the customer happy, without question.
I bought a used Pass Labs X150.5 that arrived with a stuck meter. One call to Pass and they offered to send me a new meter movement free of charge. It arrived in a few days and I was able to replace it with not a lot of effort.
