Your store brand cleaning fluid has a whetting agent. It gives it the puddle effect. A drop or two of the whetting agent in your homebrew gallon mix does the trick. Found in agriculture/farming supply stores. I have enough for about a century. If I could find decent .5 oz or so bottle that would travel in the mail well, I'd be passing it around.
