Not really, as long as the bristles are soft and you are not using alot of
force.

I've had some stuff on used records that was caked on, sticky
like glue (I hope it was glue) or dry and crusty. Some how you have to
get that stuff off. It is so bad that a brush and scrubbing won't do it.
That is the time I wish I had a bottle of that power cleaner made by LAST.
I forget what number and what they call it, probably number 1.
