I would opt for the RB-300 myself. The LVV was one of the lowest cost Linn arms they produced. I have never owned an LP12 myself, but on other suspended subchassis, belt-driven turntables, (Thorens TD-160S, Ariston 11s, Thorens TD-125mkii)I think the Rega arms can perform extremely well, and have gotten a kind of bum rap in that department.Dave
