The best type of clamping system is a system which uses a reflex clamp. This type of clamp prevents the outer edges of records to bow upward as can happen with a non reflex camp used on a flat platter. Many platters, such as the new Oracle MK V, are sligtly concave so that a reflex device is not necessary to be used with the clamp.
