There are a number of websites and books that outline prices. Price depends on rarity and demand. That said, I have seen prices vary greatly. You need to set your own limit. For me stuff from the 80s is plentiful and therefore should be $10 or less. Pre 1980s can go up to $20, after that I buy the cd! New vinyl can be had from Acoustic Sounds and Music Direct. They sell audiophile quality vinyl and the prices reflect this. But it is worth the money. Try www.recordsforaudiophiles.com
