I would question the suspension on any NOS item.a highly regarded automobile tire from back in the day would be used only for originality displays on show cars, as old tires are hard, and unsafe in common applications.
Back when bicycle racers used silk corded tires glued to the rims, they would hang them for a couple of years, to toughen them up, in an attempt to avoid flats.
I was very impressed upon reading a paper from a cartridge designer, although he now sells other products, a Mr. Van den Hul. He said it is all about the cantilever and suspension.
It made an impression, because of the obvious truth, but also because carts are sold talking about pretty much everything except those elements. I suppose because there are so few variations throughout the industry. you have an aluminum rod or boron dominating the market.
