a place where I could go and talk to 3 people and get a straight up answer and help. Now there's only a Home Depot that's a bit of a trek where one of those guys now works and he knows a shitload of things and is always trustworthy. I've known him for 30 years. Lowes is 5 miles away, HD is 12 but takes 30 minutes to get to with all the traffic here in wonderful NJ.
Home depot usually has better service and products, especially the carpet. I'm loving my new install.
