And that is the reason I haven't been around here.
To tell the truth I like Rega tonearms but I am not impressed by their tables. For the money you get a quality tonearm but the table is not impressive.
To tell the truth I have not looked into their recent high end models but so my Rega impressions have been formed over a lot of years.
All the same they look like a slab of MDF with a DC motor stuck underneath and with belt on the pulley included on the motor which gives you 33 and 45 RPM ability.
It's not exactly high tech but, like I said above, you get a very good tonearm for your money. The tonearm also requires many upgrades to make it sing but it can be very good.
You get a very good tonearm on a OK table when you buy a Rega. It's not a bad deal but you have to know what you are buying.
The high end Rega's have never been on my radar. When you get in that price range I don't even think about Rega products.
Rega deserves kudos for selling products that get first time vinyl users a turntable that plays very good sounding music for the money.
