That Alice Cooper stage show had influence. Like I said my opinion about Heavy Metal is more about about the persona or the act. The music has to be loud? Far as I know nobody ever called the Who heavy metal and they had one of the best and loudest shows.
Simple question who were the most successful Heavy Metal acts of our lifetime? Def Leppard and Van Halen? Kiss?
