bright light illuminating the record. This setup can really make records look ugly if there are scratches or dust or both.
Anyway, I first brushed with a goat hair, then stopped the record to observe the surface. There was some dust and debris removed, but still many deposits left. I then tried the Audioquest brush on the same record, and almost all the debris was removed. This is the old Audioquest brush not the new one with the gold on the handle.
To be fair, tomorrow I will try the Audioquest first followed by the goat hair. Right now, I feel the Audioquest might still be the best.
