Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

Molly Hatchet got plenty of airplay 'round these parts.

Knowing the local rawk station, they probably still do. The Seventies never ended on WDVE.
The Outlaws were in heavy rotation, too. The aforementioned radio station even broadcast one of their live appearances in Pittsburgh.
IMO, Ronnie Van Zandt was a terrific songwriter, and I'd rank Lynyrd Skynyrd ahead of the Allman Brothers Band. Not by much, though I tend to dock the Allmans a bit because Greg, you know, married Cher. I could ignore his smack addiction but Cher? Puh-leeze.
The rest of them were pretty much indistinguishable. Friend of mine was heavily into Hatchet/.38 Special but I could never tell the difference. The Outlaws had a couple of decent tunes on Hurry Sundown.
The Drive-By Truckers have an entire LP dedicated to Skynyrd (it's Southern Rock Opera) and it's excellent.

The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
