I rarely get to perform Bruckner in my undersized orchestra (actually, I get to play NOTHING LIVE with my orchestra, for the next 18 months or so, thanks to COVID!), excpet for No. 4 (Yannick Nezet-Seguin declared he had never heard the firt violi solo passage sound better, at a rehearsal back in 2016! :D ).
I am partial to the scherzo of Bruckner 8, with its ostinato repetition. So effective and such an ear worm.
I will have to spin No. 9 on the old vinyl player one of these days.
